The app does not require you to create an account or provide personal details. However, the app uses Google/Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This may include:


  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage patterns (such as screens viewed, features used, and session duration)
  • General location (e.g., country or region)


No personally identifiable information (such as name, email, or address) is collected by the app.


AI-Powered Chat Feature

The AskEd app includes an AI-powered study coach (“Ed”) that allows users to chat and receive educational support.


  • Messages entered in the chat are processed securely to generate helpful, school-safe responses.
  • Chat content is not linked to any personal identity, user account, or contact information.
  • Conversations may be temporarily processed by trusted AI service providers solely to provide chat responses.
  • The chat is designed for students and follows strict safety rules - it blocks or refuses inappropriate or unsafe topics such as explicit content, hate speech, self-harm, or instructions for illegal or harmful activities.
  • Chat data is not stored, shared, or used for advertising or profiling.



Form Submissions Through the Website

When you submit a form on the website, certain information is required so that I can respond to your inquiry.


How Is This Information Used
  • App usage data is used only to understand how the app is being used and to improve features and user experience.
  • Website form information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not stored in a database or shared with third parties.


Third-Party Services

The app uses Google/Firebase Analytics, which may collect anonymous data about app usage as described above. Google may combine this data with other information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The app does not use advertising networks or share analytics data with third parties for marketing purposes.


Children’s Privacy

The app is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Analytics data collected is anonymous and does not identify individual users.  The AI-powered chat is designed to maintain a safe and age-appropriate learning environment for students.

If I make changes to this policy in the future, I will update it accordingly and make it accessible within the app and/or on the website.
